Would you like to work in an exciting media environment for one of the regions best liked family lifestyle titles? We have a number of freelance sales opportunities for experienced sales people. In order for you to be suitable for the current vacancies you will have a strong background in advertising sales. A track record of selling to agencies and clients at all levels in a competitive marketplace.

A publishing background would be of great benefit, but is not essential. We are looking for sales people to work on a self-employed basis on behalf of our publication, selling advertising space both in the printed magazine and online. The current opportunities are in the North West, Cheshire and Greater Manchester but we also consider applications from London or the South of England based candidates. The ideal candidates should be able to work between 5 and 25 hours per week. The hours are flexible, and it is possible to work within school hours only. Proficiency in English, ability to write sales proposals, confident telephone manner ( including cold calling) and excellent communication skills are essential. Occasional meetings with clients will require smart appearance  and strong face-to-face sales experience, including preparing sales material and presenting it.
